LOVE YOUR EYES

Initially, Licensed Opticians was focused on creating traffic in optical stores across the country and generating more sales. However, using our marketing plan, they shifted their focus to educating the public about eye health and understanding the importance of vision care devices. With this strategy and goal in mind, we were able to effectively develop a dynamic campaign entitled “Love Your Eyes”, where we encouraged the public to participate in answering daily educational questions relating to vision care, eye health and Licensed Opticians for a chance to win weekly prizes. Our marketing plan was built to gain momentum, making each year of our three-year marketing plan stronger and able to reach more Canadians.

Vancouver Island University wanted to increase the exposure and pervasiveness of the VIU brand whilst reinforcing that VIU is now a University rather than a trade school and college.We defined the values and benefits that VIU provided, and gave students who identified with these same values to join the brand, not just choose it. It allowed students to help define what VIU was to them and share that with the outside world, which generated meaningful stories and photos that were authentic and relatable.
